At the risk of sounding like a Zen master wannabe, the key to doing SEO is not to do SEO. When most people, especially self-proclaimed SEO gurus, talk about doing SEO, they’re not talking about doing anything worthwhile in itself; they’re talking about generating “#content”: pumping out stuff for the sake of gaming search engines, not creating in a way that helps human beings.
